Challenge
Our client is in the paper making business. They came to us with a project featuring one of their mills in Canada. This specific facility runs on Biogas. Methane is captured from a nearby landfill, purified and compressed. Then it moves through a dedicated pipeline where it replaces traditional fuels formerly used to power paper making. Emissions are reduced by the equivalent of 23,400 compact cars.
Our client wanted to tell this story, in print, without diluting their environmental message.
Solution
Hudson Printing elected to produce this piece of collateral on their new Landa S10P Nanographic printing press. The Landa enjoys a waste free set up and the thinnest ink film layer available in print. It is the greenest printing option on the planet.
In addition, one of Rolland’s paper grades (ENVIRO) was selected. ENVIRO is made from 100% sustainable fiber using renewable energy (Biogas) and is processed chlorine free. ENVIRO is FSC and Ancient Forrest Friendly certified.
Benefit
The finished piece was/is fantastic. It looks, feels, communicates and is green. It delivers exactly what the paper mill wanted. This timely and critical message was delivered to concerned audiences that had no idea such a responsible paper making solution existed.
